Cultural welfare workers are expected to be duly capable of conceptualising and conducting research on a self-reliant basis and have a due understanding of the scientific and professional interdisciplinarity required by agogic sciences.
They are expected to have an in-depth knowledge of policy contours and to be capable of duly understanding and interpreting the implications and impact of policy in at least one of the fields of operation.
They are to be duly expert in engaging aspects of culture and art as an educational resource and lever for change. Having excellent agogical skills, they are duly expected to be able to take on guidance and monitoring duties in at least one of the various fields of application on a self-dependent basis.
They are to have due insight into the situation of the culturally deprived (target) groups and be capable of intervening on the basis of a wide social and inclusive vision, using the cultural tools are resources available to them, with the inclusion of educational and integrative methodologies and skills.
Master : social welfare studies profile
Social welfare workers are expected to be duly capable of conceptualising and conducting research on a self-reliant basis and have a due understanding of the scientific and professional interdisciplinarity required by welfare sciences.
They are expected to have an in-depth knowledge of the fields of operation and must be capable of taking on research, guidance and monitoring duties in at least one of the various fields of application on a self-dependent basis whilst having a due mastery of the required agogical skills.
They are to have due insight into the specific and current situation of certain (target) groups. They are to be duly capable of examining their situation and be capable of intervening, if and when necessary, setting out from a broad-based social and inclusive vision. The specific skills they bring to bear in doing so include educational and integrative methodologies.
Master : Leisure studies profile
Leisure agogues are expected to be duly capable of conceptualising and conducting research on a self-reliant basis and have a due command of the scientific and professional interdisciplinarity required by welfare sciences.
They are to have a due knowledge of the relevance of the recreation of movement and sports for the situation of specific target groups. As such, they are to have a due understanding of the typical social environments, situations, specific meanings and methodical approaches of movement welfare interventions in relation to these target groups.
They are to have a due understanding of the geographical, economic, psychological and policy aspects of leisure and a number of related sub-fields.
They are to have a due knowledge of a number of specific topical themes (developments, issues) in the leisure sector, for which they are to be duly capable of conducting an analysis in a self-reliant and scientific manner and of devising a policy relevant vision of their own.
