The 3 first semesters of the academical bachelor (3 years) guarantee a strong scientific basis and a polyvalent engineering education. This period closes with a scientific project. From the 4th semester on one can choose for the specific education in electronics-ICT.
A balanced mix between theory and practice is most important. Students learn to operate independantly as well as in team. They have contacts in companies and with applied innovative research.The education as bachelor ends with a technical project.
When the certificate of academical bachelor in industrial science is obtained, one can move on to the master.
In the education electronics-ICT students obtain a broad technical knowledge of analog and digital electronics and of information and communication technology.
Some fields such as embedded systems, web technology and computer graphics are studied in depth. The application of this knowledge is to learn to work in a modular way and to think in algorithms. The students are also made familiar with a few soft skills, such as reporting, presenting, co-operation and flexibel adaptation to new technologies and situations. The bachelor ends with a bachelor proof and the application of research oriented competences.
