Higher Education in Flanders

The postgraduate course ENERGY & CLIMATE is designed to equip the students with the competency to understand the state-of-the art on energy and climate issues and the ongoing policies and regulations debate. The programme aims to improve the understanding of concepts and systems and enhances knowledge regarding tools and technologies. This will enable innovative planning and action from a new perspective and approach.

 

 On successful completion of this programme, students should be able to:

• The participant has acquired the competences to understand the state-of-the-art on energy & climate issues and the ongoing debate of policies and regulations.
• The participant has acquired improved understanding of concepts and systems.
• The participant has enhanced knowledge on tools and technologies.
• The participant is able to critically analyze plans, management proposals and measures for implementation and is able to contribute to their set up.
• The participant has an understanding of energy efficiency and renewable energy from the energy end-use and services perspective.
• The participant has acquired multidisciplinary knowledge on the climate change, energy, analytical perspectives and policy responses.
