Other conditions	An original diploma in English is required, also for secondary education. Applicants who want to be admitted to the study progam and who do not have English as their native language must give evidence of good knowledge of English, both written and spoken. Students whose knowledge of English is insufficient may be obliged to follow an 'academic English' language course. Proof of sufficient knowledge of the English language can be provided with one of the following documents: - an offcial certificate which confirms that the applicant has successfully completed at least one year of a study program in higher education for which the - language of instruction was English. - a recent TOEFL-test with a score of at least 550 (paper-based) or 213 (computer-based) or 79 (internet-based). - a certificate of the British Council with an overall band of 5,5. - a certificate of the Language Centre of the Ghent University or of the Language Centre of the University of Louvain (level 5).
