| Learning outcomes | Master of Business Administration Students in the MBA-program build upon their working experience in international management. They develop their management knowledge and abilities further in a group of students with a diverse background in terms of practical experience, basic educational level and culture. Graduates have to be capable of applying their practical experience, enriched with an in-depth knowledge and social and communicative abilities in an international company setting. The program is in English. Core competencies - To build upon the basic knowledge acquired through management education and or practical training, and to deepen it further in the different management functions: accounting, finance, marketing, production and operational management and HRM. - To integrate these management functions into a view on the development of the organization, looking at it from a balanced decision making process. - To evaluate the chances and opportunities in an ever changing world within the context of a certain company and to further broaden the strategic point of view on the relation company environment. - To develop and improve the attitudes, such as initiative, entrepreneurialship, leadership, will power and perseverance, self-control and self motivation, and a sense of reality. - To develop social and communicative abilities in English, leadership and team spirit in a multi-cultural context with a diversity in practical training and company experience. Sense of realism and practicality - To develop the ability to tackle problems and entrepreneurial questions on a scientific basis. This entails: - To arrive independently and in team to formulate a scientific problem within a company setting; - To develop the appropriate research methodology; - To acquire and to analyze critically the empirical data and the conceptual thinking patterns in order to come to a scientifically based understanding. - To develop a critical and scientific point of view into methods and techniques within the limits of industrial research. |
