Entrepreneurship in any field is considered of paramount importance at Group T. The know-how which Group T has acquired in this area along with its expertise in Logistics, will be extended to prospective entrepreneurs with a one-year International Postgraduate Program in Logistics Management. In this way, Group T is opening its doors to all prospective entrepreneurs from all around the world. The major aims of the program are: to familiarize participants with Logistics Management functions and principles; To exchange information and experience between professors and participants; To exchange information and experience among participants through interactive learning and teamwork; To develop and sharpen the entrepreneurial skills of participants.
Concept
Crucial in the program is the Logistics Management Project (LMP.) This is a real life project in which groups of students understand, analyze and solve a logistics problem. All important aspects of logistics will be covered here, like supply chain management, transportation, warehousing, distribution, procurement and business management like finance, operations, cost and benchmarking, etc. This is possible because all the program's theoretical courses are ingrained in some form or other within the LMP. As such students will have the opportunity to put their gathered knowledge immediately into practice, and can experience its usefulness.
Program
The International Postgraduate Program in Logistics Management is a one-year full-time program totaling 60 credits which are equally spread of the two semesters:
- first semester: General Management, Basics of Supply Chain Management, Transport Economics and Policy, Financial Management, Basics of Marketing Management, Production and Operations Management, Training Sessions, English Profiency
- Second semester: Inventory and Demand Management, Warehouse and Distribution Management, Procurement and Outsourcing Management, Cost and Performance Benchmarking, Transport and Logistics Information Systems, Project Sessions
